Edmonton's Accordion Extravaganza

Friday night I had the chance to play an hour for the family dance where I had everyone on their feet having a great time! Saturday, Michael Bridge and Gordon Kohl gave a few workshops on improving your musical and stage skills, then to follow I once again entertained the awaiting audience during the open stage that afternoon.
That night was a tasty supper put on by the St. Joseph's Cultural hall Ukrainian ladies with an Extraordinary concert to follow.  Here Michael and Gordon performed to a packed hall full of accordion enthusiast, their professional keyboarding skills and shared their love of this diverse instrument called the accordion!
Sunday morning I was up early to prepare my fingures in competing within two divisions.  There were some good players I was up against and after performing my two numbers, 'Under The Double Eagle Polks' and 'Spatzengaweitzer Waltz' I was awared first in both categories!  Thank you Mom and Grandpa for all the patience and hard work you put into helping me perfect my skills!
